Safes are associated with secrecy and precious items. These elements quite often feature in the typical action movie so it’s no wonder that there are so many safes appearing in movies! Here are just a few of our famous safes:

Titanic (1997)

The rare necklace, so called the Heart of the Ocean, is kept in a safe aboard the Titanic. Jack’s drawing of Rose is also kept in the same safe and is later discovered many years later by treasure hunters.

The Bourne Identity (2002)

With a brand new set of skills, a Swiss bank account number implanted in his leg and with no knowledge of what his name is, amnesiac Jason Bourne, played by Matt Damon, travels to his safe deposit box in Zürich. There, he finds numerous passports displaying his picture, cash in different currencies and a handgun.

The Italian Job (2003)

Betrayed by one of their own team members, the team of criminals form an elaborate plan to steal the safe from the traitor’s house. They load it into a MINI Cooper and hack into the city’s traffic lights control system in order to make their getaway.
