The Phoenix Safes company have developed a new security measure; an optional extra when buying a safe, the Secu high security key lock gives consumers the option to change the keys on a lock without actually changing the lock itself.
The principal behind this development is not a new one; records show that during WW1, vaults worked on exactly the same principal in that the key that locks the lock is the only one that is able to open it again. This means that essentially you can have a master key for a lock (that is different to the other ones) and if you lock using this key, no other key holder will be able to open the safe.
